Brief Description: Transition training from military commercial/instrument helicopter pilot to FAA fixed-wing. If fast-track training required for going to an airline, contact flight school for details.
Options:
- Private Pilot SEL - 25 hours dual flight training, 10 hours Pilot in Command (PIC). Checkride with FAA Designated Examiner is required.
- IFR SEL Add-on Rating - 20 hours dual flight training. 10 hours of cross-country required. Checkride with FAA Designated Examiner is required.
- Commercial SEL - 25 hours dual flight training (10 hours in complex aircraft), 10 hours PIC. Checkride with FAA Designated Examiner is required.
- Commercial MEL - 3 hours simulator, 10 hours dual flight training, 13 hours PIC with instructor. Checkride with FAA Designated Examiner is required.
- Flight Experience Time Building - As necessary for the various ratings to achieve the minimum 250 hours PIC across our various planes of choice.
